Mosquito coils, sprays, mats & repellents are widely used in our country to combat mosquitoes. Researches have however revealed that mosquito coils, mats & repellents are very harmful to human health and their use has been highly discouraged. One of the Simple way to avoid mosquitoes and mosquito borne disease is to use a mosquito net. A mosquito net is effective in preventing mosquito reaching to you. It not only prevents mosquito borne diseases but also protect your health from the harmful side-effects of using mosquito sprays, coils, mats & repellents. Whether you are living in a high-risk area or perhaps traveling to one, mosquito nets offer essential protection against mosquitoes, flies and other insects.

Once you have protected yourself from mosquito bites by either using repellents, coils or nets. Its time to get rid of them. Mosquito needs standing water to complete their life cycle. What many people don’t realize is there are so
many areas in and around their home where mosquitoes can easily find out standing water they need for breeding. Many species of mosquitoes lay their eggs in hollowed places found in trees in your backyard where rainwater collects. You can use a dilute insecticide to get rid of their eggs and larva. Another favorite source for mosquito for breed is standing water in rain gutters. When the gutters on your home get clogged with debris, rain water can back up and become stagnant. You need to check frequently for standing water in these gutters. Also, keep the yard raked. Overturned leaves hold water, and mosquitoes like to breed in them.
